    I’ve actually never had Panera’s Mac and cheese, so Idk how close this recipe is to the real thing, but it’s delicious! My kids don’t normally eat Mac and cheese (I know, weird), but my 3 year old ate this as leftovers for days! I used sharp cheddar cheese instead of white cheddar, but this is my new Mac and cheese recipe!

    I agree not exactly like Panera but still very good. It’s very cheesy but even more creamy. It reminded me of a cross between a fettuccine Alfredo and mac & cheese. Definitely better than boxed Mac and cheese

    It doesn’t taste all like Panera... but it tasted really good. I substituted white cheddar for a Mexican blend and made my own whipping cream. Absolutely stunning 😋

    Turned out great. I used a mix of medium cheddar and sharp white cheddar. I also added a pinch of garlic and onion powder.

    The direction on how to make it are very poor, luckily I had experience with make this type of Mac and cheese from a different recipe. This was very good! I did add more cheese than the recipe called for which then required me to add more salt and pepper for my taste. Overall, I would highly recommend this recipe to anyone who loves Mac and cheese.

    Good, but needed a little extra seasoning.
    pretty good! nice and thick with a slight sweetness! very filling and goes nicely with bread. doesn’t taste exactly like the panera mac n cheese but that’s not a bad thing!

    A little too much flower seem to make it a bit gritty. Other than that it was very unhealthy and so, so good

    It was okay, kinda bland. I added more seasoning after I tasted it (paprika, garlic powder, onion powder) but it just needed something else. I used the same cheese in the recipe too. Maybe breadcrumbs and another type of cheese will make it better? Will try it again, but I’ll tweak it more.

    This was the best Mac n cheese I’ve ever had homemade. That’s saying a lot because I’m a fat guy, so I know what I’m talking about! I used whole milk instead of skim and I used garlic salt. It came out so thick and cheesy, it stuck to the pasta very well. As the mixture of cream, flour and butter begins to bubble, give it a minute or two of whisking to make sure it gets thick then add the cheese. I will definitely be making this again!

    First time homemade mac and cheese has turned out for me! Next time I’ll use normal white cheddar and not extra sharp, it was a bit strong

    I absolutely love this recipe! I used to be able to find white cheddar at Costco, but they don't have it anymore. regular cheddar works just fine. This is my family's favorite mac and cheese recipe.
