    This soup was delicious and looked just like the picture. I made it after dinner and it smelled so good that my daughter, my husband and I all had a bowl! I didnt have heavy cream so used 5% cream instead. I shpuld have cooked a little longer than 5 minutes -- some of the veggies were still a little crumchy. I will definitely make this again.

    The soup was wonderful. I did add chunked potatoes to give the soup substance. I also added an additional cup of milk.

    It turned out great! As per suggestions on the comments, I added a little sour cream along with the cream and some cayenne pepper. I also did 3 cups of cheese instead of two. I didn’t have an immersion blender, but I didn’t find that to be an issue. All in all, a great recipe for cold winter nights!

    I made this twice and it just had too much onion and garlic for me . Really overpowered the soup. I thought id made it wrong the 1st time. So the second time i used half a onion and 2 cloves of garlic and same result. Overall nice recipe to tweak if you want to take a couple batches to get it right but i'm sure there are other recipes out there where you wont have to do that or waste the groceries.

    Haha I accidentally put in 1/2 cup butter instead of 1/4 and I subbed 3 dollops of sour cream for heavy cream- it is so good you guys!!!! Best recipe I have tried so far!
    it is great. i didnt have carrots. so i put in a orange pepper. was a little salty because i didnt measure the vegetable broth. i used the kind in the jar.
