I used ground pork in place of chicken, sautéed to a good crisp, - and a small amount of diced celery for the crunch factor of water chestnuts. The flavors are perfect.

Great! The whole family loved it. We didn’t have any hoisin sauce and used Coconut Aminos instead of the soy sauce. We used duck sauce for a sweet touch.

I kinda messed up the recipe a little bit but I still liked it quite a bit. My kids hated it but I fully expected them to hate it even if I made the exact recipe.

Delicious. Would definitely make again and I highly recommend the recipe. The sauce was so good I now use it in other dishes too.
