  • 18 1/4 ounces fudge cake mix (dark chocolate)
  • 25 chocolate sandwich cookies
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (at room temperature)
  • 1 pound powdered sugar
  • 16 ounces white frosting (prepared)
  • 12 chocolate sandwich cookies (mini)
  • 6 strawberries (sliced)

    Directions

    1. Heat oven to 350ºF. Grease three 9-inch cake pans. Prepare cake mix according to the package directions. Divide cake batter among pans. Bake for 13-15 mins or until inserted toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 5 mins. Remove from the pans and let cool completely.
    2. Crush sandwich cookies. In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in crushed sandwich cookies. Place 1 cake layer on the platter. Spread with half the sandwich cookie frosting mixture. Repeat layering. Top with third cake layer. Frost and decorate with vanilla frosting. Decorate as desired. Garnish with mini sandwich cookies and strawberry slices.
