Made me think of my dads mothers collards. No changes to recipe and I really prefer the bacon to a ham hock. So easy and delicious.

i loved this recipe I added extra apple cider vingar to my taste. Flavor from bacon took away bitterness you sometimes get with collard greens. I like using bacon over ham hocks.

Collard greens turned out great
Only the youngest didn't enjoy them. My son-in-law is taking the leftovers for lunch tomorrow.
