- 500 grams cheese (marscarpone)
- 1 1/2 cups whipping cream
- 200 mL espresso coffee (very strong, cooled down)
- 200 mL marsala wine
- 400 grams biscuits (packet /about 48 Italian savoiardi, lady fingers)
- cocoa powder (bitter, – for sprinkling)
- chocolate shavings (or other chocolate decorations, we used mocha chocolate beans, optional)
- lady fingers (more, / savoiardi biscuits to wrap around the cake)
