- 6 cups cold water
- 4 pods cardamon (crushed the pods gently)
- 1 inch cinnamon (piece of)
- 7 oz. jaggery (or more according to taste, palm sugar, brown sugar or granulated white sugar can be substituted)
- 2 cups coconut milk (thick, I used canned)
- 1 pinch salt
