- 1 1/2 cups unsalted butter (3 sticks / 340 g, at room temperature)
- 5 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar (sifted)
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/4 cup heavy cream (or whole milk)
- 8 oz. semisweet chocolate (melted and cooled)
- 1 cup chocolate wafers (good quality white)
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
