Delicious stew! Tasted like something was missing at the end but after adding some salt and stirring it in, it was perfect! Me and the family ate it up within the week.

Thisis is a fantastic base recipe. I swap the peas for diced rutabaga, double the garlic, use beef stock for all liquids, add 3T red wine vinegar, and thicken with flour.

This recipe is straightforward and extraordinarily on point. I personalized my execution of the recipe by using a premade Italian seasoning blend and tweaked the measurements of stock, added bullion, and variety of onion. The best beef stew I ever tasted.

I skipped the cornstarch at the end and it still turned out delicious. Big hit with the fam!

Came out fantastic, only thing I changed was add more wine and substituted pepper for ground cayenne pepper for an added kick. Will cook again

Very, very good. I added a little cinnamon, all spice and brown sugar. Wonderful.

This was delicious!! I only had one can (1.75 cups) of broth, so I added an extra .25 cups of wine to compensate. !!;) While making, I wondered if this would be the type of stew that’s better the day after, but it was just as good when it was ready as it was a couple days later. I’ll definitely be making this again and will use it when making a meal train meal for loved ones.

This stew turned out great. There are more steps involved than I usually like, bit it was worth it, especially with the addition of a red wine.

This is an awesome recipe, but I’ve tweaked it a bit. First, I’ve made both ways - stovetop and slow cooker. Slow cooker is best 👍🏻 Also, I amped up the herbs. I added about a quarter teaspoon of each to the original measurements. Also, definitely needs more garlic. I think I quadrupled what it called for, but I’m a garlic fanatic. And per usual, use good wine. I used a nice, dry cab. This is definitely a keeper 🤗

It was divine! My family ate the whole pot in one night. Next time I make it, I will double the recipe for sure.

Absolutely fantastic recipe! Modifications: I coated the beef in flour before searing which thickened the stew and didn't require the cornstarch later. Per another recipe, I added the scantest pinch of powdered clove, which gave the stew a je ne se quois quality. I only had a bag of frozen mixed veggies, but I really liked the variety. Finally, I added homemade pumpkin gnocchi. Absolutely a keeper recipe!

First try at this recipe. Really good dish, worth the extra cooking time although I will try it next time with shin of beef.

First time making this stew and it was delicious!! Definitely follow the instructions on not rushing the cooking process or the meat will be tough. I added mushrooms instead of frozen peas and it was even more decadent. I will definitely make this again.
