had to cut the recipe down a little ended up being a little salty. Overall pretty good going to cut back on the salt the next time

I cut the recipe in half. Also used salted butter and reduced the salt by 1/2, half the amount of cream since I used whipping cream. Tip for the spinach: microwaved it for 4 minutes before chopping it (and saved on washing another pot).

Tried this recipe and was pleasantly surprised. Never had Creamed Spinach before, but will add this to my meal rotation. (Did not add cream or mozzarella cheese.) Still really good.

I like This. Even, my one family member, who does not eat Creamed Spinach; said it was very tasty. (note) I used heavy cream, instead of half & half. I thought the "directions" called for too much liquid. It read 3 & 1/2 C Half & Half. so I substituted 1/2 C Fat Free milk and 1 & 1/2 C of the Heavy Cream.; cutting the volume down to only 2C liquid. This adjustment made for faster thickening and resulted in a richer Creamed Spinach. I also did not opt for usung Cream Cheese or Mozzarella.
The family thought the end result a great Creamed Spinach (I told them nothing of my changes). Personally, I thought it a more authentic great Dish!
We will definitely make and enjoy this Recioe again.!

Delicious!
I followed the recipe but added a little white wine at the end to make it a little more creamy.

I made this for a early Christmas dinner with Prime rib and glazed carrots. Everyone loved the creamed spinach and raved about it. I was really excited to make leftovers with it but wasn't able to since it was devoured! I will definitely add this to our yearly Christmas dinner.

Made this without telling anyone what I changed and was told "this tastes just like what you'd get at a fine steakhouse." Pretty much sums it up. We tried this as a prep before the holidays so halfed the recipe (therefore skipped the flour) and it turned out wonderful. Making this again for sure!
