Delicious. Left out the paprika from the egg wash. Used American cheese and gouda cheese and followed the detailed instructions and it turned out great. Perfect on a cold night with tomato soup.

Absolutely delicious and so easy. I left out the paprika but spread a bit of hot English mustard on one of the slices of bread.

Very delicious would definitely make again. Put in Worcestershire sauce and dried parsley in egg wash

We had them has a Christmas Day lunch with friends and everyone raved about them! It was definitely a fork and knife type of sandwich. I had used a panini press and it has worked out great! The only thing I would do differently is the amount of butter. I think I will brunch the bottom of panini press along with the top of the sandwiches with butter, hopefully it will come out crispier. We will definitely be making the sandwich in future!

Delicious! I used homemade bread and kept the crusts and ate it with tomato soup. Perfect comfort food.

It turned out okay. I over-soaked the sandwich in the egg mixture so it wad very soggy, so try to avoid soaking for too long. With a few tweaks, I think this recipe has potential. I would add some brown sugar to the egg mixture for a little sweetness and also use a lighter cheese.

Paprika amount was definitely not correct. I decreased the amount.
I liked the sandwich but my teenagers didn't really like it.

Very tasty. It tasted like breakfast. I told my family this will be the new breakfast for dinner. The only thing that needs to be changed is the paprika. The bowl in your picture on the website looked nothing like mine when I put 3 teaspoons in so use 1 teaspoon instead of 3 for the paprika.
