    Turned out great! I added a little extra fennel and pepper flakes, used ground veal. Would also be good if you mixed in some geound italian sausage. Will definitely make this again.

    Delicious recipe. We misread the recipe and put minced onion and tomato paste in the meatballs. We also added grated Parmesan cheese. The recipe makes a huge amount. We plan to freeze some and use the others for meatball sandwiches.

    I am cooking for my son's rehearsal dinner. My husband told me to make a second batch after he tasted the meatballs and sauce. Fantastic flavor. A real keeper!
