- 14.5 oz. diced tomatoes (we prefer fire roasted tomatoes)
- 12 oz. tomato paste
- 29 oz. tomato sauce
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. dried basil
- 1 tsp. fennel seeds
- 1 Tbsp. italian seasoning
- 1/4 Tbsp. salt (wait until the sauce is nearly done cooking to add more salt, if needed)
- 1/2 Tbsp. ground black pepper
- 4 Tbsp. fresh basil (chopped, reserve 1/2 for the ricotta mixture)
- 12 lasagna noodles
- 3/4 lb. mozzarella cheese (sliced or grated)
- 3/4 lb. Parmesan cheese (shredded or grated)
- 32 oz. ricotta cheese
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 large eggs (beaten)

Not bad. The sauce was a little too savoury but I didn’t have tin tomato sauce and used regular pasta sauce so that could be the reason. I kinda of cheated and used directions from another recipe that were written a bit better. Would make again though
