The brownies tasted great but the batter was really really thick making it hard for my stand mixer and the after baking it for the suggested time it was practically hot brownie batter. I baked it for another 20 minutes but the middle was still not cooked. Everyone got impatient and we served it with ice cream anyways. The left overs got thrown into a container and the next morning it turned into really fudgy brownies with hard edges. I think this recipe would be best made the night or day before to let it set. i give a 4 star

I really liked it and so did everyone else. In the directions it said to add 2 cups of sugar but I added 1/2 and yet it was still very sweet.

It did not cook for the allotted time of 25 minutes and it took way longer, up to 40 minutes almost double the time

It was perfectly chewy yet crunchy, but the chocolate in the middle made it split apart when baked.
