This is a really good “base” recipe I doubled, added my own variety of beans, green pepper, bay leaf, turmeric, lemon juice - in addition to add a nice depth of flavor

Delicious! A family favorite and be sure to make extra for freezing. Also, add sour cream for serving and homemade tortillas
