Excellent beef Wellington! Made it for the 1st time, followed the directions and came out perfect. I was always apprehensive about the pastry part but very easy. Will make again & made our Valentines dinner very special.

This was amazing. It was the 2nd time I made Beef Wellington but the 1st time I've eaten it. It was worth the work. I made a little gravy with the pan drippings from searing the meat and cooking the mushrooms and shallot. I added some dijon and sauteed some extra mushrooms. Gravy was awesome.

fairly easy to make. The flavors were great. Turned out a nice medium-well with 35 minutes of cooking.

I love Beef Wellington and have made it several times (but it had been awhile). This is a very quick and easy recipe. I enjoy lots of seasoning so I added fresh thyme and garlic to the mushroom paste. Other than that... simple, easy, and spot on!

This is a dish I make at least once a year and is loved by all, and there is no way you can make beef wellington in 85 minutes start to finish. But don't let that discourage you, it is still worth the time and effort. but be forewarned, it will take you longer.

I’ve never made Beef Wellington so I followed the directions exactly and it was a perfect Christmas dinner. I will definitely make this again, just need to work on presentation!

Wonderful easy recipe. I haven’t made beef Wellington in years and this came out fabulous for Christmas dinner. Thank you for adding those extra details to make it easier.

My sons are coming for Christmas for the first time in years since they both have jobs that allow enough time off to travel, and I wanted something that would wow. And WOW! This is wonderful! I did a test-run, and found the directions were clear and easy to follow. Although I did have a tiny kerfluffle the first time out with the proscuitto, it was easily adjusted, and I've got it down pat now! I had read the reviews ahead of time, and the fresh thyme sounded perfect, AND IT WAS!!!

Excellent! the cremini mushrooms added a unique flavor that cannot be gained from button mushrooms.
