    The version I received from an Italian cook includes rendering some cubed pancetta in a little olive oil and then discarding the bacon, but I sometimes use bacon grease instead. She also added a little anchovy paste to the sauce. Her version did not include basil.

    It was realy very good and tasty, but I have to tell I made more spice, because it's my taste.

    Perfection! Easy to make and was delicious. I used zoodles instead of pasta to make it healthier. Would make it again!
