Description
Warm cinnamon and sweet raisins make this French toast casserole almost worthy of dessert. The recipe is a Yummly original created by Sara Mellas.

- 1 lb. cinnamon raisin bread (day-old thick cut, or challah, or babka)
- 8 large eggs
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 3/4 cups whole milk (plus 2 Tbsp.)
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- powdered sugar (for dusting)
- maple syrup (for serving)

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish liberally with nonstick cooking spray.
- Cut bread into 1-inch cubes and transfer to a large mixing bowl. Set aside.

i loved it! i forgot to buy whole milk and used the almond milk I had on hand and it was still great. highly recommend
