- 1 tsp. vanilla extract

It turned out well I replaced half of the sugar with brown sugar and replaced the pumpkin pie spice with nutmeg and cinnamon. Plus I used sweet potato instead of pumpkin. Very moist and tasty! This is a great basic coffee cake recipe which can be adjusted for your needs.
