Did not meet my expectations. The best thing I can say is the came out as little "cakes". I was expecting a crisp golden brown outside and a fluffy middle. I sort of got the latter but nothing close to a crisp golden brown exterior. I may try again at a higher heat. As little cake they are not bad (with all that sugar how could they be bad) but they are not doughnuts. Just added fresh strawberries to one of these cakes…problem solved, a very good strawberry shortcake.

Great flavor and cakiness but I would recommend a quicker bake as the bottoms become tough at a low temp. Try 425 for 8-9 minutes.

YUM! These doughnuts were delicious! The recipe is very easy to follow and pretty quick! I made 12 big doughnuts as well as a whole pan of mini doughnuts and I still had batter leftover!
I will definitely make these again!!!

This was my first attempt at baked donuts. They were delicious. I made them a second time and added more cinnamon to the coating. Liked them even more. Fabulous recipe!

Not as good as my daughters ones. Used same recipe. Mine didn’t taste much like donuts. Too moist. Maybe if cooked longer, it would have worked.

It is a solid recipe. I used only 1 cup of sugar, and it was sweet enough, especially with the topping. They are more dense than expected, but still yummy.
