This was very new for me. The taste is something I'll have to get used to.
What I did differently:
-soaked quinoa for 40 min (as per another comment which help A LOT)
-used Dates as my sweetener (didn't want to use honey because of meal plan restriction)
Overall this was a nice breakfast.

It smelled wonderful.
What I did was follow the recipe, doubled it, and made it in my instant pot. I use the porridge sitting on high pressure for 30 minutes. Came out perfectly tender quinoa and it smelled wonderful when I lifted the lid. I drizzled honey over it and tried it. Then I added more cinnamon and drizzle more honey. It was OK. I let my husband try some and he did not like it. My son seem to like it well enough. It is very filling but not as delicious as I thought it was going to be. I was full after about five bites.

I was not a big fan of this recipe. Even with honey it lacked sweetness. It smelled amazing but the flavor really fell short for me probably won’t make it again.

This recipe was delicious and simple to make. Added one step: soaked the quinoa for ~40min prior to using it to shake the bitter taste. Topped with some chopped pecans for an extra crunch.

This tastes like the filling of an apple pie! It is absolutely fabulous and sticks with you.
