Easy to make
Tastes great
Some cleanup involved with food processor
But worth it
I’ll make them again
Opportunity to use other dried fruit
Crazens or cherries sound good

The recipe on here calls for apples, but when you go to the recipe card it is for dehydrated apples.

I used pecans instead of almonds and it tasted great! I will have to try with almonds as the ingredients noted!!! Still great!!!

I used fresh apples but it tasted wonderful. Makes great pancake topping with fresh cream too :) Super healthy, my family and I love it!

Used fresh apples instead of dehydrated, so 1st batch turned out a bit wet. Still darn tasty!

The taste is fantastic. It was a bit difficult getting them into balls so I mashed them into a tablespoon measuring spoon and have half balls

Loved it! Made it a second time today (2 batches) substituted the apple for carrot with the one and the other, I added a tot of milk to act as a binding agent.

These bites are so yummy and filling. I ate a couple or three and felt full for hours. They are so sweet they replaced my sweet tooth for chocolate. And they are super easy to make. I don’t have a dehydrator so I used my oven to dry them out.

These were so simple to prepare and delicious. I rolled the balls in coconut & then cinnamon to finish them & give them a little more texture.
The true test for me is whether my very picky teenage son will eat them...he ate handfuls right away and asked for some in his lunch

Worked out pretty dang well. I had some dried cherries in the cabinet and added those too. Gave just a little bit more of a sour tang to these. Overall, very good.

Yummy but kind of an odd texture. Mine turned out watery so I added some chia seeds to help soak up the excess.
