  • 1 onion (large, chopped)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 2 green bell peppers (diced)

  • 1 tablespoon natural cocoa (unsweetened)
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 15 ounces salt (added tomato sauce)
  • 15 ounces no-salt-added diced tomatoes (with their juices)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon molasses (unsulfured)
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 8 ounces spaghetti (preferably whole-grain, cooked according to package directions)
  • 1 cup kidney beans (canned, preferably low-sodium, drained and rinsed)
  • 1/4 cup extra sharp cheddar cheese (grated, lightly packed)

    really good! i put the beans in while it cooked and used tortilla chips instead of noodles

    Different chili than normal, so nice for a change. Not my favourite chili though. Didnt put p beans on top, only red onion and cheese. The raw red onion was lovely in it, nice taste and bite. Served it with corn bread.

    Yummy! This recipe was a bit spicier than I'm used to, but was delicious! I didn't need all that spaghetti
