  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 handful cilantro (about 1 cup)
  • 15 ounces chickpeas (no-sodium, garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed)
  • 1 fresh lemon juice (lemon)

    3 seeded jalapeños still pretty spicy! Added cumin, paprika, and about two tbsp of olive oil, and 1/4 cup ice water to sifted up a little

    I knocked this down one star for the use of lemon. For me, lime is a much better choice. I doubled the recipe and I added the zest of one lime and the juice of three. I actually forgot to put the tahini in and it was still a hit with everyone.
