I didn’t have any vanilla, so I substituted maple syrup! I turned out wonderful! Light and fluffy. I didn’t have milk chocolate chips, so I used Godiva dark chocolate chips and this balanced the muffins nicely. Not too sweet for breakfast!

New favorite! The muffin batter was very thick, almost a dough, and I was afraid I'd done something wrong; however, I baked them for 20 minutes and they came out fluffy and muffin-y. These are perfect muffins. They're clearly not cupcakes, with their thicker, more dense texture. I used normally sized chocolate chips and I think it did nothing but improve them. Love it!
