Description
Soda bread is a variety of quick bread that uses baking soda as the leavening agent instead of yeast. This recipe for Chocolate and Orange Soda Bread yields a sweet bread with a beautiful crumb and crust that will make the perfect addition to your breakfast or to an afternoon cup of tea. Incorporating milk chocolate drops and candied orange into the dough, the loaf is then shaped and an x is cut into the loaf in the traditional soda bread fashion. Bake time is 35 minutes.
