  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 8 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 200 grams chocolate (70% cocoa)
  • 100 milliliters milk

    Directions

    1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
    2. Grease two equally-sized round cake pans and line the bottoms with parchment paper. Set aside.
    3. In a bowl, beat the eggs and sugar with an electric mixer until they become light and fluffy. Add the vegetable oil and cocoa powder and mix well. Gradually incorporate the flour and baking powder and then stir in the boiling water.
