The cake turned out fluffy and moist, and we enjoyed it thoroughly. We did have minor amendments: instead of 1.5 cup of vegetable oil, we replaced it with 0.5 cup of coconut oil. To make it refined-sugar-free, we used date syrup and honey. To give the cake an element of crunch, we added in walnuts. A guilt-free treat anytime!
