- 6 egg whites (room temperature)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 cashew (chopped/ground)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 pinch cream of tartar
- 6 egg yolks (room temperature)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 cups unsalted butter (while the butter is cold, cut it into smaller cubes/squares and let it sit at room temperature)
- 1 cup chocolate (use dark or semi-sweet, I used Ghirardelli 60%, melt it over bain marie/hot water bath or microwave)
- 3/4 cup oreo (crushed/crumbs or chocolate cake crumbs)
