The calorie count listed here is wonky. For some reason it counts the calories as if this recipe made four muffins, not 12. The real calorie count is listed on the author's website as 160 calories per muffin.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These are kind of a staple for me now. They stay moist for days, and they are much more filling than other gluten free muffins while still hitting the sweet tooth. I do add chocolate chips and sometimes a little sugar if the bananas are not sufficiently over-ripe. The best thing to use is bananas that are so overripe that the skin is really black and soft, like the type you would normally put into the compost because they are too ripe. Those are the perfect amount of sweet and add more banana flavour than yellow ones do.

Very tasty. A good low-guilt sweet treat, given the simple ingredients. Adding some chocolate chips would make them more dessert-like, if you’re so inclined.

This recipe is great and it was very easy to prepare. The muffins turned out just like the author said.
