    It was my first time to make a mug cake & I got this one because it has the easiest recipe but it didn't work out! It didn't rise and it hardened like chocolate candies but not in a good way. The smell tho was amazing, but that's it.

    i really enjoyed this, it was very good. the one thing i have to say, is it didn’t rise too much and there is no way you can cook this for 30-40 seconds and get the results you want. i wanted more of the lava-y effect, so i cooked it in the microwave for 3 minutes and it turned it delicious. i highly recommend, just make sure you add a couple more minutes.

    It tasted amazing and balanced, it wasn't to sweet but it wasn't too blant either, my only concern was that it was a bit runnt

    I was hoping for a recipe that did rise up and fill the mug. Taste was fine but presentation disappointed.

    So I'll start by saying I don't really like chocolate most of the time ... but every now and then I get a Craving. And this warm gooey almost molten rich chocolate mug cake ABSOLUTELY hit the spot! Serve with milk. :)

    Have made this a few times, it's hella rich but good I swap the white sugar for brown sugar and about 1/4 cup of water, it makes it more soft and fudgy. I also addd a few white chocolate melts and cook for 45-55 seconds depending on how running I feel like it being.

    I tried this recipe for three times and it was always the same result : it was flat and gooey,and even it tasted good,was very breakable and never held its shape You forgot to add milk,egg(s) and most importantly soda ash/sodium carbonate.You should really know,what you write,so others won’t end up with the same result as I did.

    microwaved it for at least 2 mins. it did not rise. then i added about a tbsp of baking power. it did not rise. this was definitely the worst mug cake i’ve ever made. in the end, it turned out hard and like hardened caramel. would not recommend.

    First time making mug cake, but SO GOOD!! I added some milk and a pinch of baking soda so it would rise. I think I put in too much vanilla cause I CAN FEEL IT. Top with a chocolate drizzle. For me, it came a bit dry. So if your not an vegitarian, try added one egg maybe. mmm. perfect for a rainy day like this

    Instead of sugar, I added maple syrup. Second time around, I put strawberries on too with whipped cream. Perfect!

    Followed some of the suggestions, added 3 tablespoons of water and microwaved for 55 seconds. It tasted yummy and was the perfect amount of gooey. So good!

    It turned out very yummy! I have used this recipe now twice and the second time i used 3 tbsp of water and it came out more gooey i loved it!❤️
