This was my first time making mousse and also making a mousse cake! It turned out WONDERFULLY. Trust the recipe 100% for the cake and mousse.
I did, however, not use the icing.
I absolutely hate icing and I wanted to tone down the sweetness so I covered the cake in "Nigella's hot chocolate sauce" and it was such a winner.
I am an au pair and I thoroughly impressed my host mothers mother-in-law.
