Chocolate Covered Caramel Apples are not only delicious and easy to make but a great gift when visiting family and friends for the holidays.
Ingredients

- 1 lb. chocolate
- 11 oz. caramel (squares)
- fuji (Apples -, or Granny Smith are suggested)

Directions
- Place caramel in a microwave safe container (container should be tall and wide) and slowly melt the caramel in the microwave in 15 second intervals. Stir occasionally until the caramel is fully melted
- Place the stick in the apple
- Dip apple into melted caramel container
- Place caramel apple on cookie sheet (with wax paper) – Make sure you spray the wax paper with cooking spray – so the caramel doesn’t stick (if it does stick – place the tray in the refrigerator for 5 minutes so the apple will come off of the wax paper - See more at: http://www.beyondtheordinarylife.com/make-chocolate-caramel-apples/#sthash.Dg6TU2jO.dpuf
