  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 2/3 cups self rising flour
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup butter (melted)
  • 1 egg (beaten lightly)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 5 ounces milk chocolate chips (or dark)

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease and line 2 baking trays with parchment paper.
    2. Combine sugar and flour in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, mix together butter, egg and vanilla. Add to dry ingredients and mix until combined. Mix in chocolate chips. Scoop out level tablespoons of dough and place 2 1/2 inches apart on prepared trays. Flatten slightly. Bake for 12-15 mins, or until golden brown. Let cool on trays.
