- 1/2 cup strong black coffee (I used the Soffio Vaniglia Espresso pod from Gourmesso)
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil (or other neutral flavored oil)
- 1 1/4 sticks unsalted butter (softened, but not greasy)
- 1/3 cup unsweetened dutch processed cocoa powder
- 2 1/2 icing sugar (or, up to 3 cups if desired Confectioner's)
- 1 shot espresso (about 2 tablespoons)
- 2 Tbsp. whole milk
- 3 chocolate covered espresso beans (for garnish, optional)
