this is delicious! the 2nd time i made it, i did a layer of salted caramel in between the cakes. also i reduced the amount of frosting and made it less sweet by not adding as much powdered sugar so it didn't compete with the cake so much!

I have made this twice and the second time was a hit. My husband loved it!!! The only thing I would do different is to cool the cake after icing so that the drizzled Carmel will not pool at the base of the cake. In other words I am trying to achieve the look in the picture. None the less the cake was delicious.
