- 1/2 cup heavy cream

These cupcakes are HEAVENLY!!! The textures of the dense cupcake, gooey pecan pie filling, creamy frosting, and crunchy candies pecans blend together beautifully for a gourmet cupcake experience! I made these for my office’s Thanksgiving Potluck and I received so many compliments on them, I’m going to have to make them again next year :)
I have to say - the frosting is OUT OF THIS WORLD. It’s even better than my favorite frosting from my favorite bakery.
The only thing I would change about the recipe would be to make the cupcakes a bit more moist - I’m not sure if I may have just baked them too long though (I doubled the recipe so I had to adjust my time).
I’m an inexperienced baker, but these took much longer than 2 hours for me to make. I did bake a double batch, but these are still a very time consuming cupcake to make. Well worth it though!
