I made the cake today and following the exact directions. The cake won't bake enough. I baked it for more than an hour. I went to cut into it when it cooled. The cake was not baked inside. I am still trying to bake it. I don't know how long I have been baking it and the cake is still wet inside. I hope I don't have to throw it out as the ingredients used are expensive. I bake all the time and never had this problem baking any cake before. I think the recipe calls for too much milk. If I ever try to bake this again I would reduce the liquid. I have baked the cake over and over and it still is all wet inside and now the edges are burnt. I may eat the cake like a pudding when it cools. I am glad I did not bake the cake for company because it is a disaster. As I stated I never had a cake that would not bake inside before. I must have baked it for a total of at least 2 hours or more. I won't make this again.
