- 1 cup cooking liquid
- 1 cup cucumber (seeded & diced, ½ a large English cucumber will yield this)
- 1 cup radishes (very thinly sliced, 3-5 radishes depending on size)
- 3 scallions (thinly sliced)
- 2 Tbsp. fresh dill (finely chopped)
- 1 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup sauerkraut (+ ¼ cup sauerkraut juice)
- 1/2 cup sour cream (optional)
- boiled egg (optional: hard-, quarters for garnish)
