I had to chop and channel this recipe because I didn't have black vinegar, Szechwan peppercorns, or whole cabbage. I had to make do with coleslaw mix, balsamic and apple vinegars, and a drop of liquid smoke (after reading about the flavor profile of black vinegar). I also cut way back on the heat. It was nevertheless excellent. I added a package of Quorn Meatless Meatballs and served it over ramen noodles. Magnif!

This was real nice recipe with a delicious flavour though quite hot. It is excellent as a salad but not a full meal.
