- 400 grams glutinous rice (white, soaked overnight in cold water)
- 2 Tbsp. peanut oil
- 50 grams pork belly (dried, Chinese bacon; see note, diced)
- 1 Tbsp. dried shrimp (see note, soaked in hot water for 10 minutes, drained)
- 3 tsp. light soy sauce
- 3 drops sesame oil
- 1 spring onion (thinly sliced, plus extra for scattering)

- 1 red chilli (small, thinly sliced, or to taste)
