- 2 slices ginger
- 1 small carrot (peeled)
- 1 1/4 cups glutinous rice (long grain, long grain sticky rice, soaked in water for 1 hour)
- 2 Tbsp. light soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 Tbsp. potato starch (or corn flour)
- 1 large egg
