Very good. I would mske it again. my only variation was that I used a combination of fresh squeezed orange juice and store bought juice.

Omg super yummy. So I cheated a bit….I used Chikfelia nuggets in place of having to make the chicken. It was amazing. Also ours was a bit darker, could have been that I double the ingredients to make sure I had enough sauce, so doubling the soy sauce may made it darker

Easy enough to do, but a little sweet for my taste, couldn't tell the real sweetness prior to putting on the chicken. I'll reduce to 1/4 cup sugar next time.

Sooo yummy! Tasted like a Chinese takeaway but less oily. Maybe a little hot but we know to put less chilli in for next time!

This recipe was great. Personally I have a sweet tooth so the sauce was very tasty to me. It was quick and easy to make and tasted as good or even better than Panda Expresses chicken.

This doesn't taste like the orange chicken that you get at Chinese restaurants, but it's still quite good. A couple of changes that I made were: added salt and Chinese Five-Spice to the flour/cornstarch mix; and used apple cider vinegar instead of white vinegar because it's all I had. I think it added to the flavor. The sauce is a bit on the sweet side. If this is an issue, use less sugar and/or more soy sauce and vinegar. You could also add more spices or some lemon juice. This recipe is also very high in starch, naturally, since that's one of the main ingredients. If I make this again, I'll use panko or matzo meal.

Very tasty 😋. Not a big fan of the sauce. Over all it was delicious. Will be trying it again. Practice makes great.

So so good! I never have to order out Chinese again! I would like to add carrots next time and maybe crank up the red pepper to give it a bit more heat. The whole family loved it!

Super good sauce. I probably used less sugar (added to taste) and didn’t batter the chicken just fried it in the sauce

I hated this recipe. As others have noted not only was my kitchen a disaster the sauce was so sweet and I used less sugar....will NOT make this ever again!

So delicious! The batter was light and crispy. I used fresh squeezed orange juice with some of the pulp when making the sauce. Will definitely make again!
