    Fantastic! I used our deep fryer and used beef tallow for oil. It was well received in our family!

    made this tonight, and we actually liked it better than our local Chinese place! We didn't use the orange or the orange zest, as we had read from other reviews that it was overly "orange,' so we just stuck to the orange juice, and it was great. We also didn't use onion, because we aren't fans of onions. Overall, we will make this again! it was delicious!

    Sorry but this was gross. Way to sweet. All I can taste is the orange and sugar. My kids loved it but not my husband and I. Very very sweet. The chicken was good but tough just not the sauce.

    seasoned chicken with salt, pepper and onion powder. added garlic powder and onion powder to the sauce. overall good recipe, but chicken is definitely very sweet. had to add more pepper flakes to try to balance it out.

    My husband and I absolutely loved this! And you can easily make it more spicy or less spicy depending on how much crushed red pepper you use.

    Love this recipe!! It had a great balance of taste. It may be a little spicy if sensitive to heat and leftovers get more of a kick the longer they sit (if there’s any left 😀). Perfectly breaded and thickness of chicken. Everyone that tries it prefers it over take out.

    It was nice but not my favorite orange chicken :/ I will give it another try with some tweaks Next time I will sub white sugar for honey, maple or brown sugar It took me a really long time, 3.5 hrs to prepare the whole meal chicken, rice and broccoli I used much less orange zest around 1/6 I substituted arrow root for corn starch

    Excellent meal. I would half the red pepper if you aren’t fond of spice.
    Turned out really well! Chicken was so crispy and delicious on its own. Since we love spicy food, made some modifications to the recipe. 1. Added some chilli powder for the chicken. 2. Reduced the amount of sugar. 3. Added more chillies for the sauce as well. IT WAS A DEFINITE HIT! 🥰

    I used a pre-made sauce, but the recipe for the chicken was fabulous. The breading was flawless. My favorite so far of the 3 different orange chicken recipes I’ve tried in the last two months.
