- 1 Tbsp. cornmeal (/cornflour/all purpose flour, This is not cornstarch)
- 2 bell peppers (I like mixing red and green)
- 1 red onion (large)
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp. Sriracha hot sauce
- 2 Tbsp. chopped garlic
- 1/2 Tbsp. ginger (chopped)
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes

Make this every other week with a jacket potato and it's just amazing can't get enough of it. Instead of frying the tofu I put it in the airfryer for 15mins on 180degrees. Also more sirrache sauce

Will do this again in the future. really easy to make and tasty. PS don't forget to add the hot sauce. This really needs to have a little spicy kick.

It’s pretty good, but next time I’ll probably follow the baking instructions rather than the frying because the tofu didn’t turn out as crispy as I would have liked. Also make sure you have sesame oil handy as it’s not mentioned in the ingredient list but is in the instructions!

Yes! This is as good as it gets. Crispy tofu every time. I don't recommend using fine black black pepper for batter mix. Looked kind of grey and quite unpleasant.... Use white pepper if you want to impress.

Absolutely my favourite tofu dish on the planet! If you don't usually like tofu this could very well be the dish that changes your mind. Highly recommend.
