Loved all the ingredients in the recipe but it just didn't work for us. Nobody complained at the dinner table but they also didn't have any positive comments either which is their polite way of saying it was just ok. Therefore, I won't be making this again and I tossed the leftovers in the trash. Sorry

Flippin great! So many flavors. I added green peppers and jalapeños which hit the spot for me. Will make this again!

I changed the brussel sprouts for chopped broccoli because my daughter hates brussel sprouts, it was still very good. Would make it again!

Hubby and I thought it was good. Our boys thought it was great. I found that it had too much broth which made it more steamed than I would’ve liked. I think with that cut back and the dish roasted and seated it would be another level.

The bacon is what makes this recipe. Would not even consider omitting it! I used winesap apples which stood up very well in the recipe, plus added a pinch of allspice. This one is a keeper

my mom and i made this together....we have a bunch of apples we need to get rid of.they arent granny smith but we made the recipe anyway...one thing i did that helped evwrything not get too mushy isi cooked the sweet potatoes in the oven so they would crisp up a bit..at the same time i cooked the bacon in the pan. when the bacon was nice and crispy i cooked the brussel sprouts in half of the bacon grease....i added the onion about half way through...when they were soft i took them out and started cooking the chicken in the other half of the grease...i added apple cider and 1/2 cup chicken broth..when chicken was cooked i put it alll in thw skillet...and kind of melded it together..next time i def want to make it woth granny smith and also i though craisins might be really good in this..but over all i loved every bite and the rhyme reallly brought the flavors together..it was alot of prep..but i think it was worth it in the end..i ate a tiny bowl and im stuffed.

I thought it was delicious 😋 I didn’t find the preparation to be difficult in any way and the outcome was worth the time it took.

Meal was ok. I would not make again. I did like the fall taste with apples and cinnamon. But family didn’t like

Yummy fall flavors, although I cut back on the cinnamon and thyme (by about ½) and was glad I did. I love the skillet dinners for simplicity. The apple was overcooked and I cut the fat off the bacon but probably won’t do that next time as the bacon was a little dry and tough as a result. The combo of chicken, Brussels, sweet potato, bacon and fall spices is a winner.

I was hoping for better, but sadly this was just ok. I did not add bacon, as I don’t eat pork; even so, I don’t think it would’ve made a difference.

Just made this per the recipe minus the sprouts (yuck) lol added jalapeños instead. It is very flavorful and delish! My man family loved it! Next time I won’t put all the ingredients in the same skillet until it’s time to eat....and I’ll add the broth to the chicken, not the sweet potatoes. It just got a little mushy, but it didn’t take away from the taste. This one is a keeper for our home. Thanks for sharing :) and per the other review.... you can’t have a short prep time for something that’s worth making imo.

It was great and the app is an inspiration to a non-cooker like me. I love the step by step cooking instructions. My meal was proportioned for two servings yet it still could feed four. Last but not least, I decided to use white rice. ThankYouYummly

Took me a long time to prep this meal, with everything that needed to be chopped. High reward with the flavors though, and perfect for fall weather :). The apples and cinnamon bring flavor to the dish. Was missing thyme from my pantry at the time, curious how this would have added definition. Pleasant and healthy- will make again!

It needs a quick. Something like cayenne will do. And definitely more salt. I'd reduce to 1 apple and maybe add more Brussel sprouts. But it's pretty good.

This was a great dinner, served 4 people and there was not anything left! I always fix the recipe by the directions the first time and I don't think I would change it. 1 of the people I feed is a 26 yr old who wiggles while he is eating when he really likes it. He wiggled!
