I tried using hoisin, etc. but something was still missing. I doubt I would make it again.

Very good. Did all the thing suggested to add flavour - hoisin, onions, shredded carrot, chicken stock. Topped with some sriracha. I think the cornstarch is a must, makes it more authentic.

Easy to put together but lacks depth. Definitely needs more spices to perk up the intensity. I would use a little less soy and vinegar.

Loved it. I seasoned my chicken with garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper. I also doubled the sauce ingredients and added oyster sauce and chicken stock. I substituted hosin for the vinegar. Also added Shredded carrots, turned out great

Loved it but didn’t see the extras at the end. Probably would have added the hoisin instead of the balsamic and maybe add a little oyster sauce. Overall it was liked by all. Thanks

Really yummy. I followed some of the comments and seasoned my chicken before cooking it, I also added paprika, garlic powder and chopped small onion. Some of the comments omitted the cornstarch but I think it’s a must. It coated the chicken and thickened the sauce. I added cup of broth to add a bit of sauce and cooked it a bit longer. I also added thinly sliced carrot for colour. The chicken turned out very tender. Will certainly make it again.

I loved this recipe! It was quick and tasty. I added a few peanuts and salt to the chicken was delicious.

Very easy to make. Will make it again, but will add some chicken broth that will thicken into a sauce...as is, it was a little dry when served. But it's one of my favorites to get from the Chinese place down the street, so willing to play with it a little to make it for (almost) free!

It was really good. Just a bit bland.. I will def season the chicken a bit more next time to give it more flavor.

Quick and easy, a good choice after a long day when you're not in the mood for hard work. I put in some sweet chilli sauce, I like a bit of a sweeter flavour. :)

We've made this recipe twice and it has turned out really good both times. The portion size is big enough for two people to have both dinner and lunch the next day. And it doesn't kill our calorie counts!

Turned out good. I added some agave before the second night to give it more of an Asian taste. Easy to complete

Great! You don't have to use exactly the same recipe, we didn't use the balsamic vinegar and forgot to coat the chicken before cooking it and it still turned out great!
