Soooo good. I want to make mini pies next time - more crust-to-filling ratio!

I’ve made this recipe many times, and I’ve never been disappointed. We’ve just had our first snow, and the first thing I thought of was this chicken pot pie!!!

Great receipt! However, I bought some eggs for potpie and completely forgot to use them. So, if you're not a fan of eggs, no worries!

Really great! I just swapped a large can of condensed mushroom soup for the liquids and flour because I was in a rush, and it was awesome. Needed more saltiness so I adjusted that with Vegeta.

Quick & easy. If you like more of a sauce to dip your crust in you can easily just add a little extra broth/milk and thicken with flour if needed. I started with 3 large tablespoons of flour with my onion & celery mixture then added a tiny bit more to thicken up since I used a little extra liquid and it worked perfectly. It was my first time making my own chicken pot pie and was so simple and delicious my husband raved about it for days and just ran out in our snow storm here to pick up some chicken so I can make it for him tonight & didn’t defrost any chicken in advance as I wasn’t planning on making this. I cooked my own chicken breasts last time but am going to try using a rotisserie chicken for tonight since I’m feeling lazy and I love rotisserie chickens anyway! Best of both world if you want some dark meat in their also! Great recipe for anyone, so simple!

This has become a family favorite. To save time we use boneless chicken breast seared and cooked in a pan, still turns out great.

Roasting the chicken in the oven lends the chicken juicy tenderness. Increasing the flour to a 1/4 cup is a good idea because when you add the stock it is a lot easier to thin out the sauce than it is to add flour or cornstarch later. Also, using heavy cream instead of milk gives the sauce just the right amount of richness, and also seems to help with thickening the sauce. The herbs and seasoning of salt are perfect. Do not try and put this mixture into a pie pan, unless you are prepared to have enough pie crust for two pies. Absolutely delicious!!!

My family loved it. I didn't think it had enough liquid base, nor was it thick enough for me. If I make again I will add more broth and flour. I really liked the seasoning Herbs de Province, even though it was a little pricey, it was worth it.

Loved this. I thickened mine with potato flakes. I do this add make it a bit more filling. I am feeding 6 boys.

Delicious! I've made this recipe several times, and now add a little more flour to thicken it. It's great!

Holy chicken! Best pot pie ever! I used fresh carrots and mushrooms instead of frozen carrots and peas, not a fan of frozen veggies. I also made them as individual pies, so cute! Even Mikey, my picky eater (go figure), likes it!

This was excellent. Paul didn't want to share it. Next time I think I'll hold off on the cayenne, or use paprika instead, because it was noticeable. Also: I used cream of portobello mushroom soup instead of the milk, and added mushrooms, and it was a huge hit.

Turned out awesome. YouTube "nana's flaky crust" so easy and a must for this recipe. The boys had seconds which made me smile. This is now a week night staple.

I've made this several times and it's always great. I did try diced cooked potatoes in it once too. I do sauce and spices to recipe then eyeball the meat amount. Husband likes lots of gravy.

It turned out really well. I had to adjust the amounts to fit what we had in stock at home. Perfect!
