- 1 tsp. italian seasoning (each of, and poultry seasoning, or 2 teaspoons of one of these herb mixes, or 2 Tbsp chopped fresh herbs such as rosemary, sage, thyme, and basil**)
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 2 Tbsp. fresh parsley (chopped)

It turned out really well. I substituted evaporated milk for heavy cream and used light sour cream to keep the fat and calories down

This was a very good recipe! I did add some fresh broccoli in with the rice mixture before baking, and also used a rotisserie chicken as opposed to chicken thighs…..it was all very good! Topped it off with some shredded cheese and French fried onions for the last 5 minutes of baking….YUM!!!

Full of flavor. Wwwaaaaayyy better than a canned soup recipe. Not upset one bit! The family loved it.

Fantastic! So nice to skip all the questionable ingredients of a soup based casserole. Recipe is easy to tinker with for your own preferences. Will add into bi weekly rotations.

Liked the non-soup base and used it for a business company meal . In a setting where people rarely ‘go back for seconds’ - the men were returning to the food bar area. I would cut the Italian herbs in half next time only change . It was very moist!

Excellent. I’ve made it exactly as directed and I’ve adapted the recipe for my sister who is allergic to milk and whey. Used all organic and it was delicious
