TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT!! You may want to check the ratio of flour to liquid. I have made dumplings before, but this dumpling recipe was a total flop! All it did was serve as a thickener to what would have been an awesome home made soup. I was sooo looking forward to dumplings NOT a pasty thickened soup. Totally ruined it! Next time I will cross reference more than two recipes when trying to find a good one.
