- 2 Tbsp. ginger (from a jar, see shopping tips)
- 2 Tbsp. garlic (fresh, chopped)
- 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup reduced sodium soy sauce (for gluten-free use Tamari soy sauce)
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar (leave out sugar, for Paleo)
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar (see shopping tips)
